We still know very little about this future Skoda Elroq, one thing is however almost certain: it will be equipped with a 100% electric motor. Based on the MEB platform, already well known within the Volkswagen group, the zero-emission city car should share its technical base as well as its powertrain with its two cousins, the Seat Acandra and the Volkswagen ID.2, which should see the day in stride.
The Czech city car should be the first to show itself to the general public, followed by the other two, which will then arrive by 2025. According to the first rumors, the Elroq should be able to cover between 300 and 320 kilometers in a single charge, and will then compete head on with the Vauxhall Corsa-e and other Peugeot e-208, among others. Its starting price should be below the € 20,000 mark.
